Finally the Fall is here. Two days of heavy rain and a significant drop in temperatures and we are in Fall.

The leaves are yellowing and falling. We are changing the clothing, adding blankets to our beds, and storing the sandals for next year.

A rainy fall day offers so many photo-ops. It is just a little bit impractical, especially while holding an umbrella and with a strong wind, but worth the challenge.

Sadly, there were heavy rains and Venice flooded to unprecedented levels.

The perils of climate changes are very real, and not only for a delicate town as Venice but for everybody.

More rainy weather is on the forecast in the coming days, eventually the bright colors will be gone and foggy weather will keep us company for months.
