Spring is Pink!

Celebrating Spring

IMG_1451

When winter dies slowly in the spring,

on the evenings of those beautiful clear days,

happy, without wind, on which windows are keep wide open

for the first few times and flower pots are brought on balcomies,

cities offer one show kind and full of joy and poetry.

Walking along the streets you can feel,

from time to time, on the face a wave of warm, fragrant air.

What? what flowers? of which herbs?

Who knows!

I lived the most part of my life in Washington DC, now in Italy getting to know again my country. Plenty of surprises, for good and bad, and lots of nostalgia for DC.
