Longing for Better Days

There is some hope now, the contagion toll is stable now. The deaths were terribly high, especially among the seniors hosts of retirement homes.

This forced inactivity surely though us many valuable lessons, it depends if the “lessons learned” will stay with us, or if they will be fast forgotten. Hopefully not.

I had a clear view of what is important and what it is not in my needs. And reinforced the appreciation for my country and the heritage we received.

I went thru a few pictures taken some years ago, that now I’m eager to visit again.

I lived the most part of my life in Washington DC, now in Italy getting to know again my country. Plenty of surprises, for good and bad, and lots of nostalgia for DC.
