And Other Complications
From now to the 21st we are granted a little more freedom. Restaurants and caffees are open; just until 6:30 pm, but that is good enough. Stores are also open. The season of shopping is now, and that is why there are these somewhat looser rules now.
Unfortunately the number of contagions and deaths are still high, snd I suspect that we will pay a very high price after the holidays.
I feel uneasy in rejoicing for the unexpected freedom. The inclement weather is not helping either. It has been raining all day long for the past couple of days.

The Day was Right
What else to do but starting the Christmas decorations, and cooking something.
A zucchini quiche is just the right thing to lift the mood. I just needed 3 medium zucchini—sliced, puff pastry, and some Camembert. Two eggs and some milk.
I sautéed the zucchini just briefly and set them aside. I prepare the puff pastry in a round pan, and set the oven at 390F.
In a bowl I whisk 2 eggs with half glass of milk. I transfer the zucchini in the pan, add the Camembert in small pieces over the zucchini, add the eggs and milk and in the oven for about ½ hour or until the crust is a nice golden color, and it starts smelling good too.

While the quiche is cooking, it started the decoration of the house for the upcoming holiday season.
I’m so ready to see the end of 2020.
