The most awaited iPhone 13Pro finally landed in Europe too. I didn’t exactly need a new phone but the new camera features were tempting.
So I ordered one

Well, the camera did not work at all. I recognized immediately that it was an operating system problem. I was devastated! The camera was the only reason that pushed me to upgrade!
After an online chat with a “genius”, I called the Milan store. A recording told me that my call will be responded to within 2-3 minutes, and 2 minutes it was!
I received a call from Ireland, and spoke with a technician in Greece! 😉
Once identified the problem they decided to send me a new phone. I received it the day after before noon.
Excellent service, it must be said

So in less than a month, I had to set up two iPhones, plus the couple of times that I tried to fix the first iPhone by resetting it.
But this time the process was not smooth. There were problems with pairing the various other gadgets, such as Apple Watch, but the sync is the real problem.
One App that I use a lot—as my life depends on it—doesn’t sync between iPhone/MAC at all.
The last updates did not address the problem, even if It seems that Apple is aware of these issues.
Is Apple losing its sparkle lately?
A note on the new camera is due though. I love it. The pictures taken with the iPhone 13PRO are superb.

In fact, the iPhone 13 Pro features a triple-lens setup, with a wide, super-wide, and telephoto optiond. The wide-angle lens is equivalent to 26mm and has an f/1.5 aperture, while the ultra-wide-angle features an f/1.8 aperture (it remains at 13mm equivalent).

Additional specifications for the iPhone 13 Pro includes sensor-shift optical image stabilization, Cinematic Mode for video, Photographic Styles for stills, plus the new A15 Bionic Chip with 5-core GPU which Apple claims is the fastest chip ever found in a smartphone.
A set of other specifications have been brought over from the iPhone 12 Pro, including Night mode, the ability to shoot in raw format, Portrait mode, and 4K video recording at up to 60p.
That is all terrific, now they just need to fix a few glitches, and I would be content!
